My name is Steve Rice, and I am President of the KATA Foundation. This summer, my close friend Dave Kummer will join me on a Coast to Coast bike ride from Florence, Oregon to Popham Beach Park, Maine. Our journey will cover over 4000 miles, take approximately 58 days, and travel across 12 states in addition to a few cities in Canada.
Coast To Coast 4 KATA
Steve Rice and Dave Kummer will embark on a cross country bike ride from Oregon to Maine in an attempt to increase awareness for Fanconi Anemia, connect with FAmilies affected by this disease, and raise money to improve medical treatment, increase life expectancy, and ultimately find a cure for Fanconi Anemia. Their difficult journey will parallel the challenges, obstacles, victories, and defeats that those with Fanconi Anemia like Kendall and Taylor endured on a daily basis.
